Vigo County School Corporation students entering 8th grade are invited to explore technology, engineering, computer science, and healthcare pathways this summer at Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute from June 23-27, 2025.  Transportation is available and lunch is included at no cost.

TechQuest is a week-long adventure at Ivy Tech Community College for Vigo County School Corporation students currently in 7th grade, who will be 8th graders starting in the fall of 2025. At TechQuest, you'll dive into hands-on experiences, explore cutting-edge careers, and uncover your true passion in the world of technology, innovation, and beyond. 

Participants will gain hands-on experience in fields such as machine tool technology, robotics, electronics, computer technology, welding, science, healthcare, agriculture, precision agriculture technology, automotive technology, and diesel technology.

There is no cost to attend and lunch is provided.

Transportation will be available from each Vigo County School Corporation elementary school via school bus.  A summer education bus will depart elementary schools at approximately 7:30 a.m. to take students to Ivy Tech Community College's Center for Workforce Development in the Industrial Park and return students to the elementary schools at approximately 4:00 p.m., June 23-27, 2025.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to pick up your child(ren) just in case the bus arrives ahead of schedule.

Pick-up and drop-off times will be emailed out for each elementary location.

If you prefer to take your child(ren) to Ivy Tech, please have them there by 8:30 a.m. and pick your child(ren) up at 3:00 p.m. The drop-off location is Ivy Tech South Campus, located at 1700 E Industrial Drive. 

Yes, lunch will be provided every day during the program at no cost. If your child(ren) have any allergies, please be sure to list them in the registration form.
