The Server Administration program is focused on relevant enterprise server operating systems configuration, management, and security. The program focuses on current network security concepts and industry certification preparation. Students will be asked to interpret an organization’s information technology requirements. From there they will then need to develop a plan of implementation and maintenance. Students earning this degree will have the technical knowledge and skills to work in the increasingly important field of server administration.
Graduates of this program can transfer to a four year university or directly enter the workforce. The field of server administration is quickly becoming increasingly important. Example careers of entry level positions include Server Support Technician, Network Server Support Analyst, and Network Administrator.
