Indy Achieves

Indy Achieves is available to Marion County residents to achieve their college goals at Ivy Tech.

Did you know by 2025, there will be one million high-wage jobs available in Indiana? More than half of those careers require education other than a bachelor's degree, like an associate degree or certificate. Indy Achieves offers new or continuing/returning students the opportunity to get the resources and funds needed to succeed.

Making postsecondary education a reality for all Marion County residents

More than 60% of jobs in the state of Indiana require a postsecondary credential or degree, but only 42% of Marion County residents have the education and training needed in the twenty-first-century economy.

In May 2018, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett signed the Indianapolis Promise Initiative in partnership with the City of Indianapolis, EmployIndy, IUPUI, and Ivy Tech Community College (Indianapolis campus) to launch Indy Achieves.

Through Indy Achieves, Marion County residents who receive state financial aid and are attending Ivy Tech may qualify for additional financial assistance and support services.
